The mission of TIGER LILY is to provide a connection between people through the beauty of nature. There are moments in our lives when words are inadequate to express our feelings. Perhaps these moments are best expressed with a touch of color or a splash of blossoms. We feel enormous gratitude to design floral arrangements for our customers to express their feelings of love, affection, romance, sympathy, hospitality, spirituality, or a feeling of a special just-because.

TIGER LILY started with master florists Jim Carlton and Arthur Faria.
These gifted people created a new standard for the floral creativity of Florida’s West Coast, bringing in all sorts of unique and elegant ideas to locations such as The Ritz Carlton, The Ringling Museum and Michaels on East. Not to mention all of the colorful and interesting businesses of Sarasota.
Jim Carlton found his passion for flowers while still attending university. After moving to the Caribbean, he establish APPLAUSE, which quickly became the foremost flower shop in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He dominated the business there, creating mouth dropping arrangements for major resort hotels on St. Thomas and St. John. Carlton lists among his credits numerous television commercials and print work, photo shoots for national magazines, and two feature films.
Arthur Faria has been highly praised for his award winning floral designs. Before moving to Florida, Arthur had been a lead designer in New York for RENNY on Park Avenue. While there, he created flower arrangements for the world famous Plaza and Carlyle hotels, and is instrumental in bringing a fresh, new approach to the Sarasota market. Arthur has an extensive background in theater and holds a Doctorate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
